ATV Maras Moray Tour
We will start the tour with a hotel pickup in Cusco’s historic center between 7:00 and 7:30 A.M. From there, we will head toward the Sacred Valley, passing open fields and Andean villages along the way. As the sun comes up, the scenery opens into wide landscapes and snowy mountain peaks. Once we reach the ATV base, we will get our helmets and a quick briefing.
After that, we will hop on the ATVs and ride along rural paths surrounded by green farmland and traditional homes. The route has gentle slopes and great mountain views. We will make a few stops at viewpoints to relax, enjoy the scenery, and snap some photos. The fresh highland air makes the whole ride feel smooth and refreshing.
Our next stop will be Moray, where the circular Inca terraces sit deep in the ground with perfect symmetry. We will take a walk around the site while the guide explains how the Incas used these terraces as an agricultural testing center. It’s a really interesting mix of history and engineering.
From Moray, we will continue riding to the Maras salt mines. Hundreds of salt pools spread across the hillside, showing off different shades of white and brown. We will walk to the viewpoints for photos and enjoy the contrast between the salt terraces and the mountain backdrop.
To finish the experience, we will ride back to the base along open trails with great panoramic views. After returning the equipment, we will head back to Cusco. The tour wraps up around 1:00 P.M. or 6:00 P.M., depending on the schedule you picked.
