The Sacred Valley of The Incas Peru tour will start in the city of Cusco. We will travel through wide valleys shaped by ancient Inca traditions. We will admire high mountains, fertile fields, and impressive agricultural terraces. This first section will introduce us to the deep history of Sacred Valley Cusco.

Our journey continues toward Pisac, known for its colorful market and vast Inca ruins. We will explore terraces that protected crops for centuries. We will walk along stone paths overlooking the valley of the Incas. This experience will reveal the strength of Inca agriculture and culture.

Ollantaytambo awaits with its powerful terraces and ancient temples. We will climb stone stairways that form part of this living Inca town. We will learn how its strategic design strengthened the empire. This visit will show remarkable examples of Inca architecture.

The route ends in Chinchero, located high above the Sacred Valley of The Incas Peru. We will explore its archaeological area and see traditional weaving techniques. We will appreciate broad landscapes and vibrant Andean culture. The tour will finish with our return to the city of Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 01

FULL DAY – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS PERU

We will start the Sacred Valley Cusco tour at 7:00 A.M. in the historic center. We will board our transport and leave the city of Cusco. The road will lead us through wide valleys shaped by ancient Inca agriculture. We will enjoy mountain views and learn about the importance of this fertile region.
We will reach Pisac, located 33 km from Cusco. We will explore its impressive agricultural terraces that climb the mountain slopes. Our guide will explain the strategic role of these terraces in the Inca Empire. We will also visit the traditional market and observe local crafts and colorful Andean textiles.
The journey continues toward Ollantaytambo, located 60 km from Pisac. We will walk through narrow stone streets that preserve ancient Inca design. Our guide will describe temples, walls, and terraces that protected this sacred site. We will climb the main platforms and enjoy wide views of the Sacred Valley of The Incas Peru.
We will travel next toward Chinchero, located at 3,762 meters. We will explore its archaeological complex and colonial church built over Inca foundations. Our guide will explain the importance of this high Andean village. We will also visit a weaving center and learn about traditional textile production.
The tour will end with our return to Cusco around 6:00 P.M. We will enjoy final views of the valley and its impressive agricultural terraces. The Sacred Valley Cusco experience will give us a strong understanding of Andean culture. We will finish the day in the city of Cusco with plenty of great memories.
