Come join Lama Glama Travel for the 7 Lakes Cusco day tour and see some incredible Andean landscapes. We will start early at 5:00 A.M., leaving Cusco and driving into the highlands. On the way, we will pass small villages and green hills, spot llamas, alpacas, and other wildlife, and enjoy the crisp mountain air.

During the hike, we will visit seven amazing lakes with bright turquoise and deep blue waters. Each lake has its own view of the snow-capped mountains. We can take plenty of photos, relax, and just enjoy being in nature. Llamas and alpacas often wander along the trail, making the hike even more fun.

We will take a break at a natural hot spring to refresh and relax. Lunch comes with stunning views of the highlands. After lunch, we will slowly make our way back to Cusco, finishing the tour around 7:00 P.M.

Day 01

7 Lakes Hike Cusco Tour

We will begin the day early, between 4:00 and 5:00 A.M., with a hotel pickup in Cusco’s historic center. Our vehicle will drive south toward Pacchanta, crossing highland valleys and small Andean villages. Along the way, we will enjoy scenic views of snow-capped mountains and grazing llamas and alpacas. The journey will prepare us for the full-day adventure ahead.

We will start hiking near the first lake, surrounded by turquoise waters and towering peaks. The trail will lead us past a series of seven stunning lakes, each with unique colors and reflections. We will stop at scenic viewpoints to photograph the Ausangate massif and observe native wildlife. Local guides will explain cultural and natural highlights of the region as we hike.

Midway, we will relax in natural hot springs at Pacchanta. The warm waters will soothe our muscles and refresh our bodies for the rest of the hike. We will have a packed lunch enjoying views of the highlands. After lunch, we will continue to explore the remaining lakes and mountain viewpoints.
