Terms and Conditions
By booking a tour with Lama Glama Travel, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Reservations and Deposits
To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the tour (usually during the briefing in Cusco). Payments can be made via PayPal, Credit Card, or Bank Transfer.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 30 days or more before the trip: 80% refund of the deposit (administrative fees apply).
- Cancellations 29 to 15 days before the trip: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations less than 15 days before the trip: No refund (100% loss).
- Non-Refundable Items: Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, Inca Trail permits, and train tickets are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, per Peruvian government regulations.
3. Force Majeure
Lama Glama Travel is not responsible for failure to perform its obligations due to «Force Majeure» events beyond our control, such as:
- Natural disasters (landslides, heavy rains).
- Strikes, protests, or civil unrest affecting transportation.
- Flight cancellations or delays.
In such cases, we will do our best to reorganize the itinerary, but extra costs may apply and refunds are not guaranteed.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and baggage loss.
5. Responsibilities
The agency acts as an intermediary between the client and service providers (hotels, transport). We assume no liability for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during the tour.
